Love yourself as if you were your most treasured lover.
Then and only then can you measure the extent that you can love another completely.

You know you are different from others.
That should tell you something.
That perspective of how special you are will help you ucknowledge and appreciate the uniqueness of others.
Welcome and celebrate their differences to live life in an exciting and special way.

It is when you are going up the hill that life challenges you and teaches you valuable lessons.
If you learn this well, when you are over the hill, you pick up the speed to velue each day and fill your precious moments with people, things and events that make you happy.

I don't know you
But I want you
All the more for that
Words fall through me
And always fool me
And I can't react
And games that never amount
To more than they're meant
Will play themselves out
Take this sinking boat and point it home
We've still got time
Raise your hopeful voice you have a choice
You've made it now
Falling slowly, eyes that know me
And I can't go backMoods that take me and erase me
And I'm painted black
You have suffered enough
And warred with yourself
It's time that you won

You have finally understood the one simple reality that every person tends to overlook......before you can make anyone else happy....you must first make yourself happy. And it is not selfish to think of what you truly want.......or care about your needs first.....what you should do is find someone that will put your needs and wishes before his!

"Contrary to what many people believe, Good Luck is not something that happens to a few who do nothing. Good Luck is something that can happen to all of us, if we do something. And that "something" consists only in creating the conditions as to make sure that those opportunities that exist for all of us do not die like four-leaf clover seed falling on sterile ground."

Aloha is the center of all things Hawaiian.
It is through aloha that all other Hawaiian values have meaning.
The sprit of Aloha affects everything we do, not so much in words,
It doesn't come from the mouth, it comes from the action.
To show you have aloha is from your action and how you deal with things

Nobody is sure if it is the weather, the bauty of the island, or the sprit of aloha
that accounts for the Hawaiians' laidback attitude towards life.
The outlook is simple : if it didn't happen today, it was not meant to happen.
Maybe another task is made clearer and that is more important for the time-being.
People live and enjoy life as nature intended.

A healthy and balanced life as a Hawaiian begins with the spirit of aloha. Aloha is a much embraced, but often misunderstood them. The meaning of aloha embraces everything from hello and goodbye, to love, caring, sharing, goodwill to all, and is defined as a way of life.
The more powerful meaning is found in its direct translation, ha meaning breath of life. The ancient greeting of aloha was originally reserved for loved once and close family. It involves rubbing noses, saying aloha and inhaling each other's breath ( or ha ) This is considered the most heartfelt and sincere welcome - to share your life energy with another person - and is the foundation of aloha.

The man who said "I'd rather be lucky than good" saw deeply into life. People are afraid to face how great a part of life is dependent on luck. It's scary to think so much is out of one's control. There are moments in a match when the ball hits the top of the net, and for a split second, it can either go forward or fall back. With a little luck, it goes forward, and you win. Or maybe it doesn't, and you lose.

There's something to be said about a glass half full. About knowing when to say when. I think it's a floating line. A barometer of need and desire. It's entirely up to the individual. And depends on what's being poured. Sometimes all we want is a taste. Other times there's no such thing as enough, the glass is bottomless. And all we want, is more.

You know how when you were a little kid and you believed in fairy tales, that fantasy of what your life would be, white dress, prince charming who would carry you away to a castle on a hill. You would lie in bed at night and close your eyes and you had complete and utter faith. Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy, Prince Charming, they were so close you could taste them, but eventually you grow up, one day you open your eyes and the fairy tale disappears. Most people turn to the things and people they can trust. But the thing is its hard to let go of that fairy tale entirely cause almost everyone has that smallest bit of hope, of faith, that one day they will open their eyes and it will come true.

It's not about doing the things you love, it's about doing things with the one you love!
You know, an art teacher of mine once said. Never buy a piece of art that you don't have to have. You know, don't worry about who the artist is or how much it's worth. I mean, you have to live with it everyday. You have to walk by it everyday. You have to really love it; you have to really appreciate it. It's kind of like picking a mate.

We're all miracles. Know why? Because as humans, every day we go about our business, and all that time we know... we all know... that the things we love... the people we love, at any time now can all be taken away. We live knowing that and we keep going anyway. Animals don't do that.
